We own and manage 6 web sites dedicated to
promoting Braille and selling products which we
make. The beggining to our mission started in
the year 2000.
In February of 2000, the mission to increase
awareness about Braille was started by Bob Varney
(Lamar, Missouri) and Pat Fischer (Omaha, Nebraska). The objective stated was to increase awareness in
Braille so that all people would come to know it, and how important it is to
the education of children who are Blind.
From a web site called BrailleCards.com created in the home of Bob Varney on
that winter day, this mission has grown to include
a variety of web sites that provide Braille products.
We have a team of professionals that can convert
printed material into Braille. The printed
items we translate include: menus, programs,
diplomas, financial data, books, and anything you
desire.
Our Braille Shop makes Braille greeting cards,
Braille calendars, maps, and other custom work.
Our Braille Art Studio produces Braille Art which
is the art you touch and includes the PJ Poet
Collection.
Accessibility dot Net manages the operations of the Braille Mission and provides its
office space which is located in Omaha, Nebraska.
